Specialized Vending Machine Movers in Toronto and the GTA
Easy Moving relocates vending equipment across the Greater Toronto Area – snack and drink machines, coffee units, combo machines, arcade cabinets, car simulators, and other heavy specialty units. Most of the machines we handle weigh between 400 and 1,000 lbs, and the job almost always involves restricted access: narrow service corridors, freight elevators, dock loading, parking-lot ramps, or a residential basement with stair turns.
We are not a general moving crew handling vending machines on the side. Our movers know where the compressor sits, why a refrigerated unit cannot ride on its side, how the front glass is mounted, and how the coin and bill mechanism is secured during transport. That is the difference between a delivery and a working machine on the other end.
Our crews regularly serve vending operators across Toronto (including Scarborough and North York), Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Brampton, Vaughan, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa.
How Much Does It Cost to Move a Vending Machine in Toronto?
Most vending machine moves across the GTA fall between $479 and $799. The final number depends on machine type, stairs, distance, and how many pickups or deliveries are on the route. We quote a flat price before the truck rolls – that number does not change on the day of the move.
Our Vending Machine Moving Prices
- Single Machine – Local GTA: from $479.00 (same-city or short cross-municipal route, ground-floor access)
- Single Machine – Longer Route or Stairs: from $549.00 (extended distance, stair carries, or restricted access)
- Specialty Equipment: from $649.00 (car simulators, arcade cabinets, combo units, gaming machines)
- Two Machines or Multi-Stop Route: from $799.00 (two pickups or drop-offs, in-building reorganizations)
- Multi-Machine Route Move: Quoted on inventory (route operators relocating 3+ machines – flat-rate per machine after the first)
What Affects the Final Price
- Machine type and weight – refrigerated units, full-size combos, and simulators take more handling time than countertop or compact machines.
- Access at both ends – ground-floor with dock or ramp is the fastest; stairs, narrow corridors, or off-hours building access add time.
- Route and number of stops – single pickup + single drop-off is the base case; route operators with multiple stops are quoted as one job.
- Timing – moves during off-hours, lunch breaks, or before opening are scheduled to avoid disrupting your retail traffic.

Compressor-Safe Transport and Property Protection
Refrigerated machines – drink coolers, combo units, ice cream vendors – never ride on their side in our truck. Laying a unit horizontally risks oil migration into the compressor lines, which can kill the cooling system within hours of being plugged back in. We strap every refrigerated machine upright on a heavy-duty appliance dolly and stabilize it through the truck.
Each machine is wrapped in commercial moving blankets and shrink-wrap before it leaves the floor. Front glass panels, coin doors, and selection panels get extra protection. We walk the route in advance and lay floor protection on epoxy floors, laminate, hardwood, and tile to avoid scratches on the way out and the way in.
For machines that need to clear a narrow doorway or a tight corner, we use air-cushion sleds and pivot dollies to control weight and direction without scraping walls or door frames.
Plug In, Level, Test – Before We Leave
A vending machine that sits on an unlevel floor will jam – the dispenser mechanism is engineered for a level base, and a few millimetres off-axis is enough to cause repeat product hang-ups. Every machine we deliver is set on its final spot, leveled with the built-in feet, and checked with a spirit level before we sign off.
For refrigerated units, we wait the recommended settling time after upright transport before plugging the machine into your outlet. Then we test: the compressor cycles on, the lights come up, the selection panel responds, and a test dispense runs. Only then do we pack our equipment.
Keys, coin trays, bill validators, and any loose service parts are packed in labeled bags and handed to you on arrival. Cardboard, shrink-wrap, and any debris from the move leaves with us – the spot looks ready for customers, not like a delivery just happened.

Renting a Dolly vs. Hiring Easy Moving
A pallet jack rental from Home Depot costs $40 a day. It is also the most common reason we get called for a second job – to fix what went wrong the first time.
A 700 lb combo machine tipping on a basement stair is not a recoverable situation. A refrigerated unit transported horizontally in a personal van is a $1,500–$2,500 compressor replacement when it stops cooling 24 hours later. A scratched epoxy floor in a leased commercial space is a chargeback on your security deposit. None of these costs are visible until after the move is done.
Our flat-rate vending move starts at $479. It includes the right truck, the right dolly, the right protection, two trained movers, full transit insurance, and the test on arrival. The price you see in the quote is the price on the invoice.
Storage Available Between Locations
If your new site is not ready, we can pick up the machine and hold it in our secure storage facility until your install date.
Climate-controlled space, 24-hour monitoring, and short-term or monthly rates.
Refrigerated machines are stored upright on pallets so they can be plugged in immediately on final delivery.
Building Access, COI, and After-Hours Moves
Most commercial buildings in downtown Toronto, the financial district, and large office complexes in Mississauga and Markham require a Certificate of Insurance before any vendor can enter the loading dock. We issue COI documents at no extra cost – name your property manager and the limits required, and we have it on file before the move date.
For locations that cannot pause operations during the day – gyms, golf academies, gaming arcades, casino floors, hospital cafeterias, school break areas – we schedule moves before opening, during lunch break, or after closing. We hit the booked time window because the next machine on your route depends on it.
Easy Moving for Vending Operators
Easy Moving has provided moving services across the GTA since 2001. Our vending machine work covers single-machine swaps, multi-stop route relocations, in-building reorganizations, new-location installs, and specialty equipment moves for arcade and simulator businesses. We work directly with vending operators, snack and coffee suppliers, gym chains, golf academies, dealerships, and property managers across Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Milton, Vaughan, Pickering, Ajax, and Oshawa.
Most of our vending clients are repeat – once a route operator finds a crew that does not damage the equipment or the property, the next call is straightforward. We track which machines we have moved before and where they ended up, so when you reorganize the route again next quarter, we already know your fleet.

Mississauga to VTL Golf Academy, Milton

Every vending move is quoted as a flat rate before the crew is dispatched. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice – no surcharges for stairs, lifts, or parking on the day.
FAQ
We quote a flat price based on your machine type, both addresses, access details (stairs, elevator, parking), and whether the route has one or multiple stops. Once the quote is confirmed, the price is locked. We do not add charges on the day for lifts, lifts being out of service, longer carries, or parking.
Yes – products, cash, coins, bills, and any loose internal stock should be removed before pickup. This protects the dispensing mechanism from damage during transport and keeps your inventory under your control. Keys, coin trays, and bill validators that can be removed are bagged, labeled, and handed to you on arrival.
Yes. All refrigerated and frozen units travel strapped upright on the truck – we never lay them on their side. Refrigerant and compressor oil migration is the single most common cause of failure after a vending move, and we eliminate it by transport position alone. After delivery, we wait the recommended settling time before plugging the unit in and confirming it cycles.
Yes. Most vending moves in the GTA involve at least some stairs – we equip our crews with stair-climbing dollies and air-cushion sleds for tight or upper-floor access. Tell us the number of steps, the turn, and whether there is a landing during the quote, so we can plan crew size and equipment.
Yes. Every machine we deliver is set on its final spot, leveled with a spirit level, and plugged in. We run a test dispense, confirm lights and selection panel response, and on refrigerated units we confirm the compressor cycles. Cardboard, shrink-wrap, and debris from the move leaves with us.
Yes, at no extra cost. Most downtown Toronto office buildings, major Mississauga complexes, and managed industrial parks require COI before any vendor enters the dock. Send us the property manager's email, the limits required, and the additional insured names – we have the document filed before the move date.
Yes. Many of our vending clients are route operators with three to ten machines being relocated across the GTA. We quote the whole job as one flat rate rather than per stop. Multi-stop routes are often more cost-efficient than booking each move separately.
Yes. We pick up, store in our climate-controlled warehouse, and deliver on your install date. Refrigerated machines are stored upright on pallets so they are ready to be plugged in on arrival. Short-term and monthly storage are both available.
Yes. We routinely schedule moves before opening, during lunch breaks, after closing, and on weekends – particularly for gyms, golf academies, dealerships, casino floors, and busy retail venues. Off-hours scheduling does not change the flat rate for vending moves under normal availability.
Glass-front machines are wrapped, padded, and strapped specifically to protect the front panel from impact and torsion during transport. Electronics – payment terminals, screens, validators – are powered down properly before the move and protected from static and impact in transit. We have not broken a vending machine front in over twenty years of moving them, and we are not planning to start.
Yes. Specialty equipment is quoted from $649 depending on size and access. Car simulators and full-motion gaming rigs may need partial disassembly at pickup and reassembly at delivery – we handle that as part of the flat rate, and we power up the unit on-site to confirm function before we leave.
